TOYOTA, Komeda Coffee and KDDI collaborated to create preventive measures for driving while using smartphones in Aichi prefecture. A smartphone application that awards Komeda coffee's coffee free coupon depending on the driving distance with smartphone turned down is created. This idea not merely banning driving while using smartphones but enables people to enjoy refraining, achieved preventing seven hundred thousand times, total of 2.6 million kilometers of driving with smartphones in hands in 10 days inside the area.
