Ishihara joined Hakuhodo in 2002 and was assigned to the Promotion Design department, where he worked on conceiving promotions through a unified communications approach that transcended the framework of advertisements, PR, and SP. He joined Hakuhodo Kettle in 2007, where he became known for his planning ability, creating real ideas that moved people. His awards to date include Cannes Silver, ACCCM Festival Gold, and the Yomiuri Advertising Award, among others. His book, “Kore Kara no ‘Ureru Shikumi’ no Tsukurikata” (“How to Make the Future’s ‘Selling Mechanism’”), was published by Graphic-sha.
